Physician Buprenorphine Prescription Practices Survey
Description
This research study is a part of a larger project that aims to train physicians in prescribing buprenorphine, a medication that is used to treat patients with opioid use disorders. This research study aims to gather information to better understand knowledge, attitudes and perceived barriers regarding buprenorphine for medication assisted treatment (MAT) in New York State.

You will complete a web-based or paper-and-pencil survey that is securely submitted/returned to us. It is a one-time, anonymous survey that can be completed at a time and place of your convenience. We expect that you will be in this research study for less than 20 minutes. The research consists of a single, brief survey.

Compensation is not available for this study.

Technical Description

The primary purpose of the study is to gather information to better understand physicians knowledge, attitudes, and perceived barriers regarding the use of buprenorphine for medication assisted treatment (MAT) in New York State.

Eligibility
Physicians who practice in New York State and have received a waiver to prescribe buprenorphine
Age Group: Adults
