Study for Pregnant African American Women and their Support Networks

Support African American pregnant women in low-SES communities through cultural- and racial-tailored collaborative pregnancy tracking technology
Description
Are you currently pregnant? Have you been pregnant in the past two years? Or are you part of the support network of someone who is currently pregnant? If so, then this study might be right for you!

The University at Buffalo (UB) is looking for pregnant adults that identify as African American or Black for a new study. The research team is looking to design new technology that can better support pregnant African American women and their support networks.

Eligible participants will have several study activities to choose from. They may complete a:
-One- or two-week long diary study
-One-time interview
-One-time focus group discussion
-Three-time hour long workshop
-One-time technology testing session

Participants will be paid for their time and effort.

Compensation may include cash, checks, gift cards, debit cards, or incentives like gift baskets, technology items, or merchandise.
Eligibility
-Adults 18 years or older
-Are currently pregnant at any stage or have prior pregnancy experience OR are a source of social support for a pregnant partner/friend/family member/etc.
-Identify as African American or Black
-Speak and understand English
-Have a household income below $56,600
