VIGOR: Volumetric Impedance to Guide Stroke Response
Description
This study enrolls people who have recently had a stroke or stroke symptoms. The purpose of this study is to learn whether a device can help physicians diagnose problems in the brain like stroke more quickly than conventional imaging.

During this one-time study, you will have an imaging decide put on your head that is similar to large sunglasses. This painless process will include monitoring for about 2 minutes. Study will take place at Kaleida Health 100 High Street, Buffalo, NY 14203.

Compensation is not available.

Technical Description

The purpose of this two-part study is to assess the ability of the CVS to detect hemispheric bioimpedance asymmetry associated with Severe Stroke in patients presenting for the evaluation of acute stroke.

Adults ages 18+.
Being evaluated for suspected stroke.
