A Qualitative Exploration of Physician Buprenorphine Prescribing Practices
Description
The University at Buffalo (UB) Department of Family Medicine is looking for healthcare providers who prescribe buprenorphine (an opioid) for an interview study. The goal of the study is to learn more about healthcare providers’ experiences, practices, and perspectives with prescribing buprenorphine.

Participants will be asked to complete a 30-to-40-minute interview either by phone or Zoom/Microsoft Teams. They will be asked questions about their background, prescribing buprenorphine, patient follow-up/maintenance, harm reduction, and patient education.

Eligibility
Adults 18 years or older Healthcare providers (such as doctors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants)
Age Group: Adults
