Project Converse: Research and Development in Conversant Technologies
Description
The University at Buffalo (UB) Department of Communicative Disorders and Sciences is looking for adult pairs to participate in an in-person speech study. The goal of the study is to learn more about communication techniques used in normal conversations. The results from the study may be used to improve in-person communication for people with disabilities.

Participants will be recruited as pairs (for example, either close friends or colleagues). They will be enrolled in the study for 2 weeks and complete 6 in-person sessions (lasting about 2.5 hours each) on the UB South Campus (at Main Street and Bailey Avenue). The study team will video and audio record your interactions as you complete a variety of tasks together. There will also be an interview and survey questions. Participants will earn $15 per hour plus a bonus for completing all study requirements.
