Description
The University at Buffalo (UB) Eating Behaviors Laboratory is looking for kids between the ages of 8 – 11 years old and a parent/guardian to participate in a nutrition study. The goal of the study is to learn about the relationship between eating and childhood development.

Families will be enrolled in the study for 1 year. They will attend 7 study visits on the UB South Campus (on Main Street and Bailey Avenue). During the study visits, kids will complete surveys, computer tasks, have their height/weight taken, and eat snacks/buffet meals. Parents/guardians will complete surveys. The visits should take about 1.5 – 2 hours. Parents/guardians can earn up to $70 and kids can earn up to $200 for completing all visits.

Eligibility
Kids between the ages of 8-11 years old who are at risk for overweight/ obesity One parent/guardian Able to travel to the UB South Campus for 7 visits spread out over 1 year
