Understanding Provider Wellness During the COVID Crisis: A Prospective Observational Study of the Psychological and Emotional Effects of the COVID Pandemic on Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers
Description
This study enrolls physicians at Kaleida and ECMC. The purpose of this study is to learn about burnout during COVID-19 and which coping strategies can help physicians.

You will complete one survey each week for 6 weeks. Then you will fill out a survey bi-weekly for two months, then monthly for three months. Each survey should take you about 10 minutes to complete.

Technical Description

This is a prospective observational study that will analyze the effects of the COVID crisis on the well being of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers while also identifying protective factors in addition to successful coping mechanisms that portend improved resilience in the face of extreme stress.

-Adults ages 18+.
-Physicians employed by, working at, or training at ECMC or Kaleida Health Facilities.
