The University at Buffalo (UB) Department of Neurology is looking for healthy adult volunteers for a study on thinking, memory, and job experiences. The goal of the study is to better understand how thinking and memory are impacted for people with multiple sclerosis (MS) and the link this may have to job experiences. Our healthy volunteers will serve as the “control group” for the study. This means that they will not receive any treatment. The goal of the UB Eating Among Teens Study (UB EATS) is to measure eating behaviors and neighborhood and household factors in 11 - 14-year-olds over the course of 3 years. A hot work environment can lead to fatigue, hyperthermia, and dehydration, which may increase injury risk and reduce productivity. The goal of this study is to learn more about the body’s response to repeated days of working in a hot and humid environment.
