Description:
The University at Buffalo (UB) Department of Neurology is looking for healthy adult volunteers for a study on thinking, memory, and job experiences. The goal of the study is to better understand how thinking and memory are impacted for people with multiple sclerosis (MS) and the link this may have to job experiences. Our healthy volunteers will serve as the “control group” for the study. This means that they will not receive any treatment. The goal of the UB Eating Among Teens Study (UB EATS) is to measure eating behaviors and neighborhood and household factors in 11 - 14-year-olds over the course of 3 years. Participation involves 7 visits to the UB Nutrition and Health Research Lab on South Campus over the 3-year period to answer questionnaires and eat snack foods. Participants with or without multiple sclerosis are needed for this research study on audio-visual cognition. Participants will be asked to complete some short questionnaires and cognitive tasks over the span of approximately 2-3 hours.
