Researchers think the study drug, EPI-7386, may be an effective treatment for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) because the drug works by interfering with the function of the male hormone system that leads to the growth of prostate cancer. Enzalutamide is an androgen receptor inhibitor that works by blocking the action of male hormones (androgens) like testosterone to slow down the growth of prostate cancer. Enzalutamide is approved by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) and is commonly used as a standard of care option for men with advanced or metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer. Since EPI-7386 and enzalutamide have not been combined together in humans, we are doing this study to find out whether EPI-7386, in combination with a fixed dose of enzalutamide, compared to standard of care enzalutamide alone, is a safe and effective treatment for men who have mCRPC. This clinical study investigates a new treatment for prostate cancer. ODM-208 (CYP11A1 inhibitor) is the oral study medication that will be taken together with oral glucocorticoid (dexamethasone) and mineralocorticoid (fludrocortisone) replacement therapy. This study is being done to see if the Buffalo Concussion Physical Exam and the Tele-Brain Injury Screen can be safely used to identify brain injury and its impact on functioning in female survivors who have experienced intimate partner violence. The Buffalo Concussion Physical Exam is a non-invasive physical exam that examines neck/head area for any discomfort. This exam also tests standing balance and the ability to follow movements with eyes. The Tele-Brain Injury Screen tells us how individuals suspected of brain injury are feeling and whether the way they are feeling is interfering with their functioning. In essence, we want to understand if intimate partner violence could result in brain injury. We also want to understand the effects of brain injury on daily functioning and social functioning.
