Study for Caregivers of Older Adults
Protocol: STUDY00010331
Full Title
Breaking The Cycle: Addressing Caregivers Knowledge on Urinary Incontinence, Falls, and Mild Traumatic Brain Injury for Fall Prevention in Older Adults
Description
Falls are one of the most common types of injuries for older adults. These falls can result in broken bones, hip fractures, and head injuries. Recently, there has been a push to develop ways to prevent falls in older adults.

The University at Buffalo is running an online study to help provide education to caregivers of older adults. The research team is looking for adults who provide unpaid care to older adults. The study hopes to develop new ways to help caregivers prevent falls in the older adults they support.

Participants will have the choice to complete surveys either virtually (on Zoom) or in-person. They will also complete a 30-minute virtual session either alone or with a group.
