Together for Health Study for Families
Protocol: STUDY00009901
Full Title
Leveraging Interactive Digital Technology to Increase Access to Family-Based Behavioral Treatment for Childhood Obesity
Description
Do you have a child between the ages of 6 to 17 years old that is struggling with their weight? If so, a new study from the University at Buffalo (UB) might be right for you!

For over 40 years, researchers from UB and Washington University have worked to develop a program to help families get healthy. Now they are interested in offering this program online. The Together for Health program will use an online platform to teach families about healthy eating and how to become more active. The research team is hoping that an online program will help them to guide even more families on their health and wellness journeys.

Families will be in the study for 10 months. They will complete eight online lessons. They will provide feedback on what they did and did not like about each lesson. They will also complete a few surveys about their lives and their feelings about the program.

Families can earn up to $150.
