Friend-based Intervention to Reduce Alcohol-Involved Sexual Assault Risk
Description
Researchers at the University at Buffalo are looking for pairs of college women aged 18-24 to assist with developing a program to help friends protect one another from sexual assault.


This study will last for about a year. First, participants will attend an in-person 2-hour study visit, which will include 1) a 30-minute introduction survey, 2) an hour-long discussion with a study staff member about the benefits and challenges of helping friends to prevent sexual assault, and 3) a 10-minute exit survey. Over the following 12 months, participants will complete a 30-minute survey at 1, 3, 6, 9, and 12 months after the in-person visit (total of 5 surveys over a year).


Participants can earn up to $275.

Eligibility
Two women aged 18-24 who are friends and currently enrolled in college.
