Rhythm Evaluation for Anticoagulation with Continuous moniToring of Atrial Fibrillation
Description
Adults with atrial fibrillation (AFib) have an irregular and very rapid heart rhythm. Common symptoms include tiredness, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, and dizziness. Since AFib can increase the risk of stroke, many adults take blood thinners to help treat their AFib.

The REACT-AF trial is seeing if patients can safely pause their blood thinners when their heart rhythm is normal. This study will last for 3–5 years. Participants will be randomly assigned (which happens by chance, like flipping a coin) to one of the following groups: (1) will take their prescribed blood thinner every day or (2) will stop their blood thinner and restart it for 30 days if a smart watch records an AFib event.

Eligibility
Adults 22-85 years old
Have a history of atrial fibrillation (AFib)
Are taking a blood thinner
Have an iPhone
Age Group: Adults
