Phonetic Plasticity in Community Contexts
Description
The University at Buffalo (UB) Department of Communicative Disorders and Sciences (CDS) is looking for patrons of the Buffalo Museum of Science for a speech study. The goal of the study is to learn more about how people understand speech and how that may change over the lifespan.

Participants will complete one study session that will last about 20 to 30 minutes during their visit to the Buffalo Museum of Science. They will complete a survey and simple game on a computer/iPad.

Eligibility
Children and adults over the age of 7 years old who are visiting the Buffalo Museum of Science Are native speakers of North American English Have no history of speech, language, or hearing issues Have no history of brain issues Have had no exposure to the German language Have not lived in Germany
