Exploring and Validating an Evidence-based Digital Tool for Hyperacusis Evaluation
Description
The University at Buffalo (UB) Department of Communicative Disorders and Sciences is looking for people with hyperacusis (cannot tolerate loud noises) for an in-person study. The goal of the study is to develop a more reliable method for diagnosing hyperacusis.

Participants will complete an in-person visit on the UB South Campus (at Main Street and Bailey Avenue) that will last 1 to 2 hours. During the visit, they will wear headphones and complete a hearing evaluation, loudness tests, and surveys. Participants will earn $25 for the study visit.

Eligibility
Adults over the age of 18 years old Have been diagnosed with hyperacusis (cannot tolerate loud noises) Able to attend an in-person study visit to the UB South Campus
Age Group: Both Adults and Children
