Treatment of depression improves epilepsy therapy outcome and quality of life in patient with epilepsy and depression
Description
The University at Buffalo (UB) Department of Neurology is recruiting people living with epilepsy and depression for a study. The goal of this study is to see if doctors can improve the quality of life and lessen the severity of seizure in people with epilepsy and depression.

Participants will complete a survey that may take up to 2 hours to complete. The survey will ask questions about your life, experience of symptoms of depression, your daily activities, and the number of seizures you have experienced in the past.

Eligibility
Adults aged 18 to 75 years old Have been diagnosed with epilepsy Have been diagnosed with depression OR are experiencing symptoms of depression Not currently pregnant or postpartum
