Oracle announced Jan. 31 2007 that it would no longer support the Oracle release currently used by the Research Foundation (RF). The RF decided to upgrade to the next release of Oracle Applications to gain immediate and/or future business improvements without disrupting business operations during the project or following implementation.
Key Dates:
Friday, April 20, 2007 - Shut down current system at 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday, May 1, 2007 - Bring up upgraded system at 7:00 a.m.
SPS will give priority to transactions (including Payroll, PO’s, reimbursements) received on or before April 13. IFR Appointment Forms must be received by April 10 in order for them to run during the month of April. Transactions received after these dates will be processed on a time available basis.
Awards Terming 4/30/07: Final transactions should be completed by 4/13/07 to ensure posting to your account by 4/30/07.
