College of Arts and Sciences Pre-Approval of Grant Proposals

The College of Arts and Sciences authorizes the pre-approval of grant proposals that satisfy the following criteria:

1. All PI's and Co-PI's are from the same Department;
2. No credit is assigned outside of Department or to Organized Research Center;
3. The full applicable indirect cost rate is applied (no waivers);
4. No cost-sharing, except up to 25% of in-kind academic-year salary;
5. No matching from CAS;
6. No University support of personnel or equipment beyond grant period;
7. No space or facilities beyond those currently available;
8. No new academic program established;
9. Current SUNY-2 Form on file in CAS Dean's Office by all PI's and Co-PI's, as indicated in the roster posted online.
