Library and Resources

The CM-LAF maintains a departmental library in room 119, BEB. The library materials are available for "in-house" use. Materials include books on Anesthesia, Models of human disease, Surgery, Anatomy, Animal Husbandry, Pathology, and Veterinary Medicine on all species in research. Also available are videos on various lab animal subjects, and instructional brochures and leaflets on the care of animals in research. Journals available include Contemporay Topics and Comparative Medicine/Lab Animal Science.

The CM-LAF Lab Animal Veterinary Residency Program offers weekly lectures on various lab animal species and related topics. Contact Dr. Lisa Martin for a schedule of upcoming lectures at lbmartin@acsu.buffalo.edu.
