FEES

PER DIEM RATES:

Per diem rates for animal care or direct charges for personnel costs and supplies are based on the cost analysis and recovery procedures outlined in the NIH Cost Analysis and Rate Setting Manual for Animal Resource Facilities (NIH Publication No. 00-2006 revised in May, 2000).  The rates are reviewed annually by University at Buffalo administrative officers.

The table below contains animal care per diem rates for the current 05-06 year. These rates apply to principal investigators (UB faculty members) with federally sponsored grants. Principal investigators working with non federally sponsored grants (corporate sponsored) should contact the CM-LAF and the Office of Sponsored Programs to get rate information prior to making a commitment.
