Multidisciplinary Initiatives
Our goal is to enable greater collaboration among researchers from different disciplines. To help multidisciplinary groups develop competitive proposals, we will:
- facilitate preliminary meetings among research units
- help identify additional collaborators
- follow promising funding leads and explore ways to make the projects fit the grant description and agency guidelines
- contact agencies with questions
- review proposal drafts
- provide resources through MIPS
- assist academic units in the formation of inter-institutional partnerships and major university research centers, and
- collaborate in UB 2020 projects
